The good news is that the garden is planted!
The truth is that most of it was not planted by me. I was at Conference, and my husband and mother-in-law planted tomatoes, corn, carrots, and lettuce.
Today my husband and I planted pepper, spinach, and squash. He did most of the work. All I really did was put the seed in the ground.
I am a little disappointed that I didn't get to do more of the work. However, I am also relieved. I feel like now maybe it will actually be a working garden. I am realizing how much the fear of failure keeps me from acting. It is definitely keeping me from doing things I want to do. So a victory of having a garden planted, even if I was only on the periphery.
